I am a photographer drawn to the nostalgic & unscripted - capturing love in motion, childhood in bloom, & motherhood in its quietest, most powerful forms. My work is rooted in memory, told through documentary imagery that feels like home. I aim to make photographs that echo the way a moment felt long after it's gone. I see each family story in motion as a living archive where generations overlap, love layers itself, & the ordinary becomes sacred. These are the days.
From an early age, the drive to create art has been my guiding force, a vision that has evolved into my practice as a photographer. With nearly two decades of experience behind the lens, I’ve honed my craft, & in 2012, my husband, John, joined me in capturing the beauty of weddings. This work runs deep, offering a nuanced exploration of human connection. I focus on the intricate dynamics of family life - its complexities, joys, quiet struggles, & the profound love that binds us together.
Our shared commitment to a team mindset has been central to our journey. Today, we’re grateful to call the Philadelphia suburbs home, where we live with our two daughters, Rowan & Sloane, along with two dogs, a cat, ten chickens, and our buzzing bees - each day filled with love, laughter, & a bit of chaos.
Inspired by family & the art of gathering, I’ve spent over 20 years photographing our life - travel, art, architecture, home, gardening, our children’s milestones, & secular worldschool adventures. In finding beauty in my own life, I’m inspired to document the stories &
lives of others.
Always my why.
